The riscospath module
This is a new os.path for
RISC OS machines. The original
RISC OS os.path was simply unixpath
hacked to swap '/' and '.' characters; this version knows a little more about how
RISC OS paths actually work. (I love RISC OS, but to be fair, the word
"badly" would about sum up how its path syntax works.)
This version of riscospath now comes with the standard Python
source distribution
and the RISC OS binary
distribution, but if you are using an older version or a platform on
which it is not installed, you may want to download it here.
